Our vision is based around three core principals Strive, Achieve and Believe!
Students and staff were celebrating at The Sixth Form at The Chalk Hills Academy today with some excellent results.
Louise Lee Principal stated:
“We have had a noticeable increase in the proportion of our students achieving A and A* grades as well as A* -B and offers at Russell Group Universities. I am so proud of our students and we wish them every success for the future. Our teaching staff and sixth-form team have worked exceptionally hard over the past twelve months, developing our sixth-form provision. We have had a strong focus on improving our Post-16 teaching to enhance questioning, discussion, independent learning and monitoring and feedback. Our sixth-form continues to go from strength to strength – well done all.”
Stefan Bodo Head of Sixth-form stated:
“It is so pleasing to see so many students achieve quality A Level grades and move on to the Higher Education courses of their choice. This is due to the hard work and dedication of the students allied to the support and care of their teachers. It was also good to see so many students achieve high outcomes in their BTECs, thus gaining entry to high quality undergraduate places. It does prove that with the correct approach to study, a positive work ethic and an inner determination to succeed then students can gain high quality success in the Sixth Form at The Shared Leaning Trust.”
