SUBJECT OVERVIEW

An A-Level in Mathematics will help to develop your understanding of mathematics and mathematical processes in a way that promotes confidence and fosters enjoyment to develop abilities to reason logically. This subject will allow you to see how different areas of mathematics are connected, recognise how a situation may be represented mathematically, help you understand the relationship between mathematics and ‘real world’ problems and enhance your problem solving skills.
